We've had an absolute whirlwind few days since The Tees Box went live, with orders coming in from Scotland to London (supporting our theory that Teesside expats love a bit of Teesside comfort) and a whole load of orders coming in from TS Postcodes - thank you!
But there’s one question that’s been consistent throughout - what’s in the box?
Our plan has always been to keep this under wraps, giving you a bit of excitement when opening Box One, and a chance for us to introduce the products and businesses behind them through the “box menu” in each Tees Box.
So to give you a bit of an insight, we thought we would introduce you to the businesses we’re working with over the next week or so…
Supplier #1 The Plant Workshop
The Plant Workshop started with David’s obsession around interiors and houseplants, and has expanded to also offer a home fragrance range from stores in Billingham and within Fenwicks in Newcastle.
Alongside his partner, Steve, they manage a team that sits across the two sites, and who they credit with being integral to their win at The Chelsea Flower Show 2022 on a brief they only received two weeks prior.
We’ve absolutely loved working with David. He immediately understood and supported what we were doing, and gave us a few ideas that will really help us moving forward. And the products are incredible… Dan has had the prototype box in his home over the last week and the scent you get even walking past is phenomenal.
